Chiang Mai Running Retreat is one of our yearly running camps. It is usually organized in June-July at the beginning of the rainy season when conditions are good for running. It is held around Chiang Mai in different areas in the highest mountain ranges of the country. In 3 days of trail running, it’s a unique opportunity to discover for the first time new mountain and hill-tribe areas relived in exclusivity by TMT. Different groups of ability are organized and led by local guides; overnights are held in resorts*** and mountain villages with premium conditions.

UTMB World Series is the largest and most famous trail running competition in the world. With 60 races worldwide and a final in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France, this is the reference for all trail runners. Thailand Mountain Trail works as the UTMBI Representative for Thailand and has been selected by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Thailand and Sport Authority of Thailand (SAT) to advise them on all sides of the race organization (routes, elites, participants, safety, timing…) for the Thai edition.

Queen of the Jungle is a unique trail-running adventure. It’s a 3-day stage race by teams of 2 dedicated to running girls. The route is held through the jungle, rice fields and mountains in the wildest areas of the country. The stations and overnights are organized in the hill-tribe villages alongside the track. The main target of the race is to run the full distance in 3 days (140k and 8’400m+) and to raise money for the ‘Sport for Kids’ project in the hill tribes. The event is now on held before we get authorization for the next edition.

Ultra Thai Was the first ever ultra trail trace organized in Thailand, and the second one in Asia just after Ultra Trail Mount Fuji in Japan. It was probably the toughest Ultra Trail in South-East Asia. with mountainous, technical and wild conditions and hot and humid weather as well. The target of the race was to run the whole TMT.1 route, the first long hiking footpath of Thailand from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao, created by Thailand Mountain Trail. In 2010, the race has been replaced by Chiang Mai by UTMB of which our agency is official partner.
