THE CAPITAL OF TREKKING IN THAILAND

The province of Chiang Mai located in the north of Thailand, close to the Golden Triangle, Laos and Burma, is the best area of the country for hiking. It has the most beautiful national parks and the highest mountains of Thailand. The region is also home to many ethnic minorities (Karen, Lahu, Hmong, Lisu) whose bamboo and teak villages are awesome places for overnights in the mountains. The trekking opportunities in Chiang Mai are immense and the variety of landscapes is unique: Doi Pui and Doi Suthep the 2 sacred mountains at the edge of the city, the Mae Taeng river with surrounding jungle and rice terraces, Doi Inthanon or Doi Chiang Dao at the top of the highest mountains in Thailand.

UNIQUE HIKING ROUTES

It is therefore in Chiang Mai that TMT created its main trekking routes and the 1st long hiking footpath of Thailand which crosses the entire province. It took years of research to gain trust from locals who helped us relive these paths formerly used by their parents and grandparents. Thanks to our unrivaled expertise, we offer exclusive trekking trips for hikers eager to experience a unique adventure, far from the tourist areas. For one day or several days, with nights in Chiang Mai or in the mountains, our hikes will immerse you in the densest jungle, through the most beautiful valleys and rice fields or at the top of the highest mountains of Chiang Mai province.
